Job Description

Job Overview:
This Sales Director role is remote while the head office is in the Vancouver area. Primary responsibility is to accelerate Chocxo business and drive growth in the Canadian retail market.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and executing on opportunities to drive growth on the Chocxo brand in Canada
  • Planning and execution of full year promotional plan at key retailers within the Independent, Natural and Mass channels.
  • Setting strategic direction and performance expectations with broker partners.
  • Motivating our partners to be passionate Chocxo advocates while leading with clear objectives and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts to ensure optimal order fulfillment.
  • Achieve annual volume targets within authorized funding
  • Manage relationships with key account buyers, distributors reps and broker reps to ensure optimal support at all levels
  • Embrace available data to support sales initiatives, decisions, and enhance forecast accuracy
  • Attending trade shows to support and showcase the Chocxo brand.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Up to 30% travel required; Trade show attendance, training reps in field, customer visits
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 7-10 years CPG experience within Natural and Grocery Channels
  • Direct key account management experience
  • Proven sales leadership and people management experience- direct or through brokers
  • Proficient in data tools to drive insights through analysis; proficient in trade analytics, managing P&L, inventory forecasting, etc.
  • Experience launching both new products and brands and navigating the complexities of both direct and distributor service retail distribution.
  • Has demonstrated success delivering aggressive sales goals and developing and implementing key strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in trade marketing, category management, sales planning and brand marketing to provide a strong foundation in these business fundamentals.
  • Consistently demonstrate proactive and solutions-oriented mindset while embracing ‘roll-up the sleeves’ mentality regardless the challenge
  • Relentless passion to win.
  • Strive to deepen distributor, retailer, and broker level partnerships to further accelerate Chocxo’s objectives.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills.

Pay: $115,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
