Overview and Objectives:

An IT Sales Engineer is a professional who combines technical expertise with sales skills to effectively sell technology solutions and services. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between complex IT products and customer needs, ensuring that clients understand the value and functionality of the offerings.

The primary objective of an IT Sales Engineer is to drive business growth by aligning technology solutions with customer needs while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and relationship management.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving our IT Sales . This position requires a strong understanding of computer networking, cloud technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify NET New Business and NET New Opportunities.
  • Analyze existing IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
  • Conduct product demos and provide support during pre-sales activities.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  • Utilize tools like VMWare for virtualization needs.
  • Develop scripts using Python for automation tasks or data analysis.
  • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and project management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Sales Engineer or in a similar role within technology sales.
  • Strong understanding of software development, web technologies, and enterprise solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients at various organizational levels, particularly senior executives.
  • A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with VMWare for virtualization environments.
  • Proven ability in project management methodologies.
  • Experience in conducting product demos and supporting sales initiatives is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for automation or analysis tasks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Technical proficiency in IT products and services.
  • Strong presentation skills with creativity in delivering engaging demos.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address client concerns effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings or presentations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
