Banquet / Catering Sales Manager
Chateau La Mer is seeking a catering Sales Manager, in promoting and selling the Banquet facilities for Weddings, private & corporate Events etc.
Summary of Position:
The Banquet Sales Manager will be responsible for inside sales methods, including but not limited to, a weekly action plan which will be prepared with after action reporting, live chat, miscellaneous lead methods, networking through community events and bridal shows. Administrative duties include, but are not limited to, contract negotiations, preparing proposals, working online referral programs, preparing contacts and banquet event orders, at times customizing menus with the chef and staff scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in high volume catering sales
- Computer Skills: Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office are a must
- Handling: Deposits, billing, contracts, estimates and developing Banquet Event orders
- Coordinate Room Settings
- Inspect finished arrangements and final touches
- A detail oriented and energetic candidate
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; both verbal and written
- The ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends as needed
- Excellent Sales ability in oral and written form and time management skills are a must
- Friendly and engaging demeanor with customer service orientated personality
Salary $ based on experience plus commission

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
