Active Network, a division of Global Payments, is seeking an experienced Director, Sales Operations to join our growing sales team.

As our Director, Sales Operations , you will manage the performance of the sales support team to ensure on time completion of proposals including collateral development, research, and/or meeting preparation. You will evaluate sales processes and identify opportunities for sales support to streamline entire sales processes along with measuring activities' results. Ensure appropriate systems and reporting are maintained to meet the needs of the business and sales team. Oversee or secure technical experts and/or account resources to assist in the sales process and help ensure clients are provided in-depth technical & business knowledge of payment solutions. May support the incentive calculation and/or payment process.

What Part Will You Play?

  • Designs, implements, and manages sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in planning, forecasting and budgeting approaches used in the sales organization.
  • Partners with senior sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Facilitates successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch. Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement.
  • Negotiates Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for processing services for clients. Advises other on SLAs and assists as needed in negotiations acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SLAs. Advises and assist the sales team in general contract negotiations representing the company from a business perspective.
  • Provides feedback and support for client presentations, demos, response to Request for Information (RFI), Response to Request for Proposal (RFP), proposal preparation, Proof of Concept (POC), solution discussions with the client and in future contract and price negotiations.
  • Assists sales executive by performing delegated tasks and acts as a representative of the sales team. Participates in various corporate leadership meetings on behalf of sales, advises on performance of sales directors, and performs administrative functions such as expense report review and approval. Provides input into corporate functions such as Business Continuity (BC) / Disaster Recovery (DR) planning.
  • Directs the sales activity tracking and reporting processes in an effort to ensure appropriate and meaningful metrics are captured and reported to allow executive leadership to remain informed and to maintain appropriate oversight.
  • Directs the initiatives for the sales support department in implementing sales organization objectives that reflect the company's goals. Builds strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel to ensure sales efficiencies.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • Typically a minimum of 10 years
  • Related professional experience including a minimum of 5-6 years experience in a managerial position.
