Role and Team

Reporting to the VP Dealer Sales Operations, this position will create, document, and facilitate standard operating procedures (SOP) to meet customer needs in the field while keeping to expected ADESA SOPs. They will also help facilitate and ensure accuracy of customer SOPs.This position will also focus on working with the Field Sales Teams and ADESA Operations teams to coordinate and execute the launch plans for newly executed Large Dealer relationships, and organic growth within ADESA for established large dealer relationships. This position enables the ADESA Sales teams to continue hunting for new business while knowing that their customers are being taken care of. Acting as a liaison between the customer and our agreed upon structure (contracted agreements, if applicable), this position will develop and deploy a documented launch plan to ensure our customers have the highest chance of success as they grow with ADESA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SOP documents for each launch, ensuring comprehensive planning.
  • Research and define optimal launch paths by identifying Auction resources and capacities.
  • Provide coaching and training for Auction teammates, aligning with the established Training Strategy.
  • Manage and address Dealer group needs, including ADESA/Carvana logins, training, marketing, and event logistics.
  • Facilitate on-site launches to ensure a seamless process and conduct post-mortem meetings for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for ADESA Dealer Sales Operations, Auctions, Digital Operations, and IT teams regarding operational or technical matters.
  • Organize workflow and workload for Customer Accounts, serving as the primary contact for new requests and systems-related issues.
  • Represent ADESA at customer meetings and launches, ensuring effective communication and promoting teamwork at all times.
  • Travel to sale sites as needed to train on new processes or improve efficiencies
  • Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance.
  • Ensure customers receive prompt, efficient, and courteous attention for all contacts and transactions.
  • Ensure all area conditions do not threaten employee safety. Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property. Report all incidents immediately. Practice and instruct all employees in proper loss prevention and reaction procedures. Report all incidents properly and immediately.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 4 years of auction industry experience working with Dealer Customers or Commercial Accounts
  • Possess knowledge of AMS suite, Commercial Accounts in AMS, AutoIMS, ADESA.com, Simulcast, DealerBlock, and Salesforce
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in creating operational documentation and workflow processes required
  • Able to read and understand data reports and analytics
  • Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
  • Confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information
  • Proven ability to manage deliverables and metrics against aggressive targets and timelines
  • Adept personal skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and applications
  • Travel up to 30% of the time

Physical Working Conditions:

This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations.
