Job Summary
The Sales Director will be responsible for leading and overseeing the sales team to drive company revenue and growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to develop and implement sales strategies.
Job Summary:
The Director of sales manages and oversees the sales operations, one of the main duties include designing plans to meet sales targets, developing and cultivating relationships with clients and evaluating costs to determine their products’ pricing when selling to customers. The goals are to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
Sales Director Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
- Maintain All Sales Dashboard(s), updated - (Weekly/Monthly sales, CEO, and other related Dashboards)
- Maintain Department Strategic Scoreboard for Leadership Accountability meetings.
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives,needs, and resolving escalated issues.
- Manages strategic relationships with inside sales executives and rep partner counterparts.
- Understand industry-specific trends/landscapes by monitoring market channels for strategic “new” business partnerships.
- Hosts monthly partner firm meetings as needed.
- Teams up with other (Products,Logistics,Marketing,Business Dev, Operations) departments to plan and execute business strategies as required to drive sales such as engagement programs and dealer incentives.
- Monitors Rep contracts and reviews dealer programs/ proposals with the operations Director.
- Creates/Maintains all Lead sources, Lists, ICR inquiry, Partner Firm leads, NDO, etc
- Effectively communicating value propositions leverages all external and internal partners to generate sales pipeline and enhance sales opportunities with both new and existing accounts.
- Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets; including monthly snapshots, Sales history and all performance activity Year Over Yr, per sales rep(s) historic value.
- Collaborates and provides guidance to the National Sales Manager to ensure best business practices for optimal growth.
- Participate and possibly coordinate Summits (when necessary) in conjunction with other departments, dealers and partners.

- Demonstrated ability to set aggressive goals and objectives, bring multiple parties together, and drive a cross-functional team to achieve results.
- Utilize current Sales tools, Netsuite, CRM, Hubspot and sales research tools to secure and document interaction with all sales pursuits.
- Presentation and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Security and Surveillance current pricing tools.
- Strong communication skills, ability to influence, demonstrate sound business judgment
- Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Understanding of how to position products against competitors
- Superior customer service and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, competitive team-player with a huge desire to WIN
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.

Mathematical Skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
