Job Description

Key West Ford Sales, a premier automotive dealership in New Westminster, BC, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Team Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and performance of sales staff.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business development.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to align sales strategies with overall dealership objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service throughout the sales process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Implement processes to follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, provide feedback, and set goals for individual sales representatives.
  • Utilize CRM systems and other tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate reports for management review.
  • Inventory Management and Merchandising:
  • Work closely with the General Manager and inventory manager to optimize inventory levels and ensure a diverse and appealing selection of vehicles.
  • Implement merchandising strategies to showcase vehicles effectively both online and on the showroom floor, driving customer engagement and sales.
  • Compliance and Administration:
  • Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to sales operations.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely completion of sales paperwork, including contracts, financing agreements, and vehicle registrations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a dealership environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Salary: $120,000.00-$220,000.00 per year
