Key West Ford Sales, a premier automotive dealership in New Westminster, BC, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and performance of sales staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and a customer-centric approach.
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business development.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to align sales strategies with overall dealership objectives.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service throughout the sales process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement processes to follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Sales Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
- Monitor sales performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, provide feedback, and set goals for individual sales representatives.
- Utilize CRM systems and other tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate reports for management review.
- Inventory Management and Merchandising:
- Work closely with the General Manager and inventory manager to optimize inventory levels and ensure a diverse and appealing selection of vehicles.
- Implement merchandising strategies to showcase vehicles effectively both online and on the showroom floor, driving customer engagement and sales.
- Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to sales operations.
- Oversee the accurate and timely completion of sales paperwork, including contracts, financing agreements, and vehicle registrations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a dealership environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
