Commercial Lines Account Manager/CSR

COMMERCIAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER/CSR POSITION

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Commercial Lines Account Manager/CSR to join our dynamic company. You will work diligently with our clients and insurance company partners, striving to provide solutions to meet insurance needs.

The position is full time in our Lenexa, KS office, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. There is opportunity for occasional remote work. Pay for this job is $50,000 - $70,000/year.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

· Perform daily tasks including applications, endorsements, COI's, MVRs, and customer invoicing.

· Assist commercial clients with policy and coverage questions, changes, and endorsements.

· Communicate with insurance company underwriters and general agencies.

· Respond to commercial client calls/emails regarding policy questions, changes, and requests.

· Identify, compile and manage information for new business and account renewals.

REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES

· Two years of related commercial lines experience with a retail broker/independent agency and a current P&C license. Kansas or Missouri license preferred.

· Two years of insurance account manager experience.

· Mid-level experience with Casualty/General Liability, Cyber Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Excess & Surplus Lines, Garage/Garagekeepers Liability and Professional Liability/Errors & Omissions.

· Strong foundational knowledge of Auto Fleet, Commercial Auto, Commercial Umbrella, Hired & Non-Owned, Inland Marine, Motor Truck Cargo, Non-Profits, Personal Auto, Property, Religious Institutions/House of Worship, Schools & Universities, Transportation, Trucking and Workers’ Compensation.

· Proficiency with Adobe PDF, DocuSign and Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word).

· Proficient knowledge of Quoting & Rating, Policy Review.

· Working knowledge in NexSure (agency management system) is a plus.

· Interpersonal Skills: effective communicator, relational, multitasker, problem solver, detail and service oriented.

· High School Diploma or equivalent.
