JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Account Manager, SaaS Sales at Commvault is responsible for self-generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new/existing business and achieving individual sales quotas. This is a full sales cycle role that requires the successful candidate to seek and find new prospects, progress with leads from channel and marketing, up-sell into existing install and close the deals in the defined territories (list of SMB accounts).
The ideal candidate will have a consistent record of selling and closing deals directly in collaboration with channel partners. They must have strong negotiation and hunting skills in addition of a challenger mentality to ensure that the deal closes at an acceptable level of value!
**This role requires being on site in the office in Fort Lauderdale 4 days per week, WFH Fridays***
Position Responsibilities:
Develop sales opportunities by researching and prospecting (cold/warm call) within the assigned territory.
Upsell and Cross-sell the client base
Set up and deliver sales presentations and product/service demonstrations
Assist in crafting RFP responses to potential clients.
Support marketing and channel efforts like tradeshows, partner events etc.
Overcome objections and deliver an individual sales quota.
Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales order forms.
Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.
Attend periodic sales training where applicable.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or technology
Be able to drive to the Fort Lauderdale office four days a week.
Understanding of Commvault products/industry will be a big plus.
Ideally, experience with Microsoft Office, SFDC and Outreach.io (or other Customer Engagement Platform)
Office/home base role (hybrid), with visits to customers and partners
Strong customer handling skills with a collaborative style, supporting internal and external clients, as needed
Multi-tasking and time management skills to optimally work under deadline pressures
Effectively works in a team-based environment with limited supervision, as well as independently to complete work duties
Effective problem-solving skills to detect changes in circumstances or events
Maintains a high level of professionalism, courteous demeanor and confidentiality
