What you will do

Our sales and marketing teams play a key role in our success. To keep the ball rolling, we're on the lookout for a top-notch Sales & Marketing Coordinator. You will support our current initiatives and help launch new projects that line up with our company and customer objectives. You’ll have a background in either sales and/or marketing, covering areas like sales desk support, CRM support, brand communications, advertising and events/trade shows.

Our team members will count on you to keep project workflows seamless and efficient. You take ownership of internal marketing project plans and business development efforts.

Objectives of this role

· Help with executing the brand strategy for the company.

· Ensure that all marketing efforts align with immediate and long-term business objectives by identifying and implementing enhancements for processes, content, and lead generation.

· Sales and business development initiatives include research, prospecting, CRM maintenance, proposal support and ultimately helping the sales team achieve its set revenue targets.

· Generate sales and marketing activity reports and metrics to measure program success.

What are your responsibilities

· Research market trends, customer behavior, and competitor landscape to create insightful reports by analyzing and summarizing data.

· Assist the marketing leadership in developing and assessing marketing strategies by compiling sales forecasts, setting objectives, preparing promotional presentations, and updating schedules.

· Inform the sales team about campaign goals, timelines, and deliverables, offering guidance on usage and promotion, while managing the chat feature on goiguide.com.

· Assist the sales team with inbound lead research, qualification, and assignment based on details associated with lead(s) as received.

· Organize meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying needs, making connections, creating schedules, assigning tasks, booking travel, management of swag inventory and managing mailing lists.

· Manage inventory of sales support materials, ensuring accuracy and freshness, and coordinating the production of new materials when needed.

· Maintain the sales and marketing dashboards on HubSpot and assist with reporting on a variety of KPIs.

· Assist with post-sale coordination and onboarding working alongside the Customer Success team.

What we look for

· Minimum of 2 years experience in sales and/or marketing coordination or a similar position.

· Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.

· Experience with data analytics software (HubSpot or Salesforce) for research purposes is a must.

· Strong communication and presentation skills are also essential for this role.

· Working knowledge of HTML and design and email software.

· Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications.

· This is a hybrid role with three days in the office (Waterloo, ON) required, to facilitate brainstorming and team building.

· Minimal travel required, not exceeding 20% of working time.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
