Responsibilities:

  • Manages the Sales Department staff by onboarding, allocating work, orientation and training.
  • Setting performance expectations, evaluating performance outcomes, rewarding and recognizing excellent work, and recommending wage changes, promotions or transfers.
  • Communicates regularly with staff members through individual and group meetings.
  • Continuous sales and customer service skills by delivering on-the-job training and classroom training.
  • Rides along with sales staff to coach individuals to enhance interactions with customers. When necessary, disciplines and/or terminates staff.
  • Formulates and implements strategies with the goals of having each Design Specialist meet or exceed his/her projected Average Dollar Per Lead (ADL) every month.
  • Consistently meets or exceed its budgeted monthly and annual company sales goals.
  • Optimizes the resources of the company by managing lead flow; and ensuring the sales team have the training and tools they need.
  • Communicates effectively with production crews concerning job proposals.
  • Oversees the paperwork of the sales department to ensure clear communication among all departments of the company and customers.
  • Communicates effectively with customers. When customer issues are escalated to his/her level, works to resolve all issues with customers.
  • Ensures customers have a remarkable experience.
  • Is an ambassador the company’s culture and purpose.
  • Assists other departments as needed.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to legally drive a motor vehicle.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge in construction or foundation systems helpful.
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing, and customer satisfaction theories and practices.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Education & Experience

  • Associate Degree in sales, marketing, business administration or related field; and/or
  • Two (2) years experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in management position;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience to illustrate a proven track record in the business field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
