The Account Management team is a group of technical subject matter experts who partner closely with our Energy Advisors to provide best-in-class energy advisory services to our clients. If you have experience with and enjoy the daily pursuit of market knowledge, modeling, analysis, and the development of custom solutions tailored to our client’s energy needs. What you’ll do:
· This position will start Jan 2025.
· Collaborate with Energy Advisors in managing client relationships opposite top Tradition Energy clients, including Fortune 500 corporations and municipalities.
· Maintain wholesale power and gas price analytics to track market movement and identify execution opportunities for clients.
· Provide insight regarding energy and utility market developments across active deregulated power and gas markets in Europe and North America.
· Evaluate, track, and back-test movements in components of retail energy supply rates to inform product recommendations to clients
· Analyze energy consumption patterns and structure products to best meet the client’s budgetary goals
· Develop advanced energy solutions for clients including: demand-side management, sustainable energy projects, demand response, emissions-related products, and financial instruments to hedge energy consumption in regulated markets
Who you are:
· 2+ years of experience in an operational role.
· Knowledge of retail energy market dynamics including rules and requirements desirable.
· Knowledge of wholesale energy market drivers, recent trends, and outlook desirable.
· Exceptional communication skills - verbal and written
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
· Strong analytical and presentation skills, must be able to translate the complicated into c-level communications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
