Job Description

SUMMARY

Appy Medical is a young and rapidly growing mail-order distributor of Durable Medical Equipment dedicated to serving our customers in an exceptional manner, with a focus on transparency, personalized care, education, high-quality service, advocacy and convenience. We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Referral Coordinator (Inside Sales Specialist) for the Dallas territory to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our reach within the clinical community and increasing access to life-changing continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and insulin pump technology. In addition, you will establish close partnerships with medical device manufacturer sales associates to promote and coordinate Appy’s services and expand the business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect and qualify potential clients by utilizing channels such as online research, networking events, healthcare databases, etc. to identify referral sources with patients who could benefit from CGM and insulin pump therapy.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls to educate healthcare professionals on Appy Medical’s value proposition, the benefits of CGM and insulin pump systems, and their positive impact on patient outcomes, and conduct outbound sales calls to medical device manufacturer sales associates.
  • Cultivate strong relationships and maintain rapport with healthcare providers and medical device manufacturer sales associates by fostering trust and understanding and meeting their needs.
  • Skillfully overcome concerns and address objections by demonstrating Appy Medical’s value proposition of our services and CGM/insulin pump therapy.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction by resolving and following up on all customer concerns in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with Appy Medical’s in house team.
  • Maintain accurate records by managing and updating Appy Medical’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System with detailed information on interactions and progress with prospective and current clients.
  • Consistently achieve individual and team sales targets for referrals and revenue.
  • Stay informed and compliant by maintaining in-depth knowledge of CGM and insulin pump technology, competitor offerings, relevant healthcare trends, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
  • All other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commissioned sales role, preferably (but not required) within the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but relevant work experience will be considered as a replacement for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and demonstrating a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and present effectively.
  • Understanding of the healthcare landscape and the evolving role of technology in patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant technologies.
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on patient lives through innovative healthcare solutions and excellent customer service.
  • Minimal travel may be required to attend company and customer meetings and events.

Employees permitted to work remotely must maintain a proper, hazard-free work environment that is conducive to their job productivity, and fully comply with Appy’s remote work policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
