Senior Product Manager

Climate LLC: Senior Product Manager for San Francisco, CA to independently transform science-based models & analytics into scalable customer solutions for agricultural software products; extract common technical data requirements to develop scientific models that achieve efficiency & repeatability in products; define metrics to measure commercial success of products & analyze data from these metrics to iterate and enhance product offerings; set capability & feasibility requirements for digital products to enable new business models; conceptualize & define operational solutions to business problems; lead collaboration with technical & business stakeholders to gather product feedback and drive backlog refinement and sequencing to guide business use cases. Requires Master’s in C.S., Business Analytics, Operations Research or closely-related field & 1 yr experiencecontributing to the development, release & launch of agricultural software products; gathering & translating customer specifications into technical requirements using machine learning; assisting in prioritizing technical requirements based on feasibility & customer needs; supporting the integration of business requirements into product designs; performing and/or supporting data-driven quantitative analysis of new product concepts, strategic opportunities & competitive threats using Python and SQL; contributing to the identification & resolution of data dependencies; setting quantitative metrics to measure adherence of scientific models to customer expectations; gathering information from customer interviews, surveys and/or usability tests using Miro to understand customer product usage; assisting in distilling quantitative insights from data analysis by creating data visualizations & reports using PowerBI; and working with cross-functional team members to develop new product concepts & product strategies. Up to 10% U.S. travel req’d. Telecommuting permitted from home office location within reasonable commuting distance of San Francisco, CA up to 3 days per week. Salary Range: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $170,000.00 to $190,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
