Inside Sales Representative

Our Client is currently looking for a candidate specializing in distributing industrial pipes, valves, and fittings, and is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for their Delta Branch in Delta, BC. The role focuses on maximizing sales in the region by managing both new and existing accounts.

Salary and Benefits:

• Annual salary range: $58,600 - $64,100

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and enter sales orders received via phone, fax, email, or direct from sales representatives.
• Resolve customer issues in coordination with various departments.
• Prepare sales and delivery quotations and coordinate logistics with warehouse staff.
• Utilize selling techniques to enhance sales, including promoting substitute products and specials.
• Follow up on direct shipments to ensure timely delivery and billing.
• Maintain current knowledge of company products and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience in customer service/sales or a warehouse environment within a related industry.
• Background knowledge in mechanical/industrial pipe, fittings, fire protection, and/or plumbing.
• College Diploma in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other web-based applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
