POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Service Sales Leader role leads the Service sales function for the Horwitz Direct to Owner client base. This role will lead a team of Account Managers, Business Development Associates and Inside Sales Associates to provide Service solutions for Horwitz clients in the areas of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Building Automation & Industrial Services. This role will establish a disciplined Sales Process with rigor in the areas of new account acquisition, prospecting, KPI management, Construction to Service hand-off and relationship management. RESPONSIBLITIES/DUTIES:
These responsibilities generally describe the nature of the position and may not be all inclusive:
- Support Sales team in the execution of the Sales Process for assigned territories/accounts
- Establish prospecting best practices and train Sales team on tactics/methodologies
- Conduct joint sales calls with Sales team to coach, develop and establish expectations for Account Management and prospecting activity
- Provide leadership with weekly KPI dashboard including activity, close rate, bid volume, new customer acquisition, etc.
- Establish formal Construction to Sales hand-off process and ensure compliance with all projects
- Promote cross-divisional opportunities and establish qualification criteria in partnership with division leaders
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and other business engagements related to new business development
- Support Service Agreement development model and own renewal and growth objectives
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Support integration of additional Sales resources added to Service Sales from acquisition activity
- Continuously strive to improve and develop professionally
SKILLS/ABILITES:
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to teach by demonstrating effective Sales behaviors, tactics and processes
- Ability to shift between strategic and tactical thinking quickly to support Horwitz clients
- Polished customer service skills with helpful, courteous and problem-solving attitude
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of Sales Leadership experience in the HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical field
- Proven track record of growing a sales territory through sales professionals
