About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled IT Manager to oversee their technology operations, with an emphasis on vendor account management and contract negotiation for cloud technology and managed service providers. This role combines technical leadership with essential business management, allowing the IT Manager to make a tangible difference across the firm’s technology landscape.
The IT Manager will work closely with vendors, lead contract negotiations, and ensure a secure, efficient IT infrastructure. The role also involves enforcing data privacy and information privacy standards to protect critical data and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the firm’s technology infrastructure, prioritizing stability, security, and scalability with solutions like Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, and cloud-based services.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, particularly with cloud companies and managed service providers, ensuring high-quality service and optimal pricing. Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Develop and implement policies around data privacy and privileged access management, ensuring GDPR compliance and information privacy standards.
- Establish and enforce IT best practices that support security and efficiency while aligning with industry regulations.
- Mentor and manage the IT team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on productivity and growth.
- Provide IT support and guidance to portfolio companies, advising on cloud solutions and data privacy best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, and cloud technology. Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and information privacy protocols.
- Proven experience managing vendor relationships and leading contract negotiations with cloud companies and managed service providers.
- Strong leadership skills, with a focus on team-building and creating a productive work environment.
- Experience managing IT budgets and ensuring financial efficiency of technology initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL, PMP, or data privacy certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with private equity compliance and technology needs.
- Experience in negotiating high-value contracts within IT.
