Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Experienced Territory Sales Manager to join an established MRO supplier within the industrial marketplace. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in sales, with a passion for building relationships and exceeding company goals. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and represent a reputable company in the industry. This individual will be ready to hit the ground running here in the Central to Eastern Regions of North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate sales and expand the customer base.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services to meet those needs.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, quotes and contracts.
  • Negotiate terms of sale and close deals to achieve revenue goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Efficiently manage time and travel to visit territory customers at regular intervals, in-person and virtual 3 to 5 days/week.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections and overcome challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
