Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Experienced Territory Sales Manager to join an established MRO supplier within the industrial marketplace. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in sales, with a passion for building relationships and exceeding company goals. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and represent a reputable company in the industry. This individual will be ready to hit the ground running here in the Central to Eastern Regions of North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate sales and expand the customer base.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services to meet those needs.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, quotes and contracts.
- Negotiate terms of sale and close deals to achieve revenue goals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Efficiently manage time and travel to visit territory customers at regular intervals, in-person and virtual 3 to 5 days/week.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections and overcome challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
