Job Description:

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts and serving as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and concerns. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong relationship-building abilities, and a proactive approach to client management. The Account Manager will work closely with internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and solutions that meet client needs and expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our commercial insurance clients, ensuring exceptional service and building strong relationships.
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, providing expertise and guidance on insurance products and coverage options.
  • Work with brokers and producers to make sure existing clients are correctly handled, cross-selling opportunities are capitals on, and to help close as much new business as possible.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of policies.
  • Review and analyze policy documentation, endorsements, and certificates of insurance for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist clients in filing claims and provide support throughout the claims process.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lines account management or related field
  • P&C Insurance License required or working towards getting an insurance license
  • Proven track record of success in sales or customer service roles
  • Knowledge of insurance products and coverages, particularly in commercial lines
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Experience with sales administration, telemarketing, or retail sales is beneficial
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies (Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Quickbooks, PhoneBurner)
