Digital Sales Manager – Digital Power

Schneider Electric is seeking a candidate for the Digital Sales Manager for the US. This key position will be responsible for developing and managing to a thorough strategic plan across the US. The Digital Sales Manager will be accountable for driving sustained revenue and profit growth across all regions of the United States. He/she will reside in a region with a Schneider Electric Hub Location: Dallas, Chicago, Nashville, Boston.
GROWTH
- Achieve sales targets and sustained revenue growth.
- Manage the strategic plan for the Digital Sales team to maximize lead generation, pipeline growth, and sales opportunities. Elements include:
- Identifying and leveraging Digital tools for prospecting and lead generation.
- Work with other Digital Power sales leaders to develop a clear and stated plan on what the digital sellers in each geography will lead and support.
- Develop staffing plan to execute all stated strategies.
- Own and develop processes to enable and track success of key metrics.
- Lead the commercial execution of strategies to enable key distribution partners across the US.
- Develop a strong relationship with cross BU counterparts.
- Work closely with distributors to track performance of key distributors across the country.
- Work with RSMs to participate in quarterly business reviews with DP sales personnel.
- Coordinate closely with marketing on all marketing activities, road shows, local/national Trade shows, promotions, and marketing programs to support and capture commercial opportunities.
- Work closely with DP commercial team to own and execute commercial support activities.
- Complete required reports on schedule.
- Follow Company procedures and policies.
- Have a digital mindset around software, services & analytics
- Manage expenses according to monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets
- Manage escalation around sales and operations
People Management
- Assure high level of people management. In an on-going way, analyze and define action plan to reinforce people management.
- Network, recruit, and hire high performing Diverse talent into the commercial organization.
- Develop people through coaching and training.
Qualifications:
5 years’ sales and/or people management experience (managing teams of sales professionals) working in electrical distribution or adjacent industries. (Preferred)

- A proven track record of success, demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, and achieve rapid growth.
- Experience in electrical distribution industry in United States, and its many channels.
- Meet regularly with existing customers and prospects within the region to understand their evolving business needs and position service solutions to meet surfaced needs.
- Builds long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing customers and prospects.
- Establishes an environment and foundation for sustainable future sales growth. Sells and coaches subordinates how to sell value and solutions to customers/prospects.
- Strong technical acumen and demonstrate good knowledge in selling complex technologies/systems.
- Minimum of BS/BA degree preferred or technical discipline. Advance degree a plus but not required.
- Ability to travel minimum of 40%
- Strong ability to communicate with and influence across all levels of organization.
