The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to work alongside our pre-existing Sales Manager to help lead our Openers Team. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing, managing, and driving the performance of our team of business development professionals. Your leadership will be key in ensuring the success of our sales efforts, building strong relationships, and meeting sales targets. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Develop the Team: Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives (Openers), helping them reach their potential while fostering a high-energy, goal-oriented culture.
- Sales Strategy: Work closely with senior leadership to implement effective sales strategies, refine processes, and optimize the team’s approach to lead generation and prospecting.
- Performance Management: Set clear performance goals, track team metrics, and hold team members accountable for achieving targets. Regularly review and assess individual and team performance.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and development to enhance the team's product knowledge, sales skills, and overall performance.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless experience for prospective clients.
- Reporting & Analytics: Monitor team KPIs and report on team performance, opportunities, and challenges to senior leadership, offering solutions and improvements where necessary.
- Client Relationship Management: Ensure the team builds strong, lasting relationships with clients, providing them with exceptional service and value from the initial point of contact.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales leadership or management, ideally within a financial services, fintech, or B2B sales environment.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies, pipeline management, and lead generation techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team, driving both individual and collective success.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is an asset.
- A passion for developing talent and creating a positive, high-performance work environment.
