Position Description:
The Onsite Event Manager (Client Relations Manager) plays a
pivotal role in overseeing all facets of catering contracts, including event setup and
execution, with a primary emphasis on fostering positive and mutually beneficial relationships between Duvall Catering & Events and its clients.
Job Duties:
The following outlines the essential functions of this role as defined by management,
although it does not limit the tasks that may be assigned. Management reserves the
right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position as needed, whether

- Oversee and actively participate in the execution of events.
- Supervise the training of service staff and maintain comprehensive training and process manuals.
- Attend weekly meetings with contract clients to review past events and prepare for upcoming ones.
- Prepare proposals and contracts for Duvall Catering & Events team based on client's Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Disseminate relevant information to Duvall's Operations team to ensure seamless event execution.
- Contribute to the development of new displays to enhance consistency and guest experience.
- Offer constructive feedback and critiques to event leads and service staff, with a focus on meeting client expectations.
- Supervise and schedule the Assistant Onsite Event Manager, ensuring their duties are carried out effectively.
- Assist in recruiting and training new service staff for all aspects of catering services, including setup and event execution.
- Manage inventory of catering supplies and equipment.
- Relational Roles: Reports to the Director of Sales. Will work onsite alongside our client.
Position Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be personable, highly organized, and
possess strong planning skills, along with a creative vision and adaptability.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Minimum three years of experience in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Front of House service standards and training.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong team player with a commitment to diversity and exceptional service.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining professional relationships.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds and stand for extended periods.

- Salary will be discussed on a one-on-one basis and determined based on professional experience and character fit.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,931.06 - $50,497.63 per year
