Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Consultant to join our team. As a Solar Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy systems to residential and commercial customers. Your primary goal will be to educate potential customers about the benefits of solar energy and help them make informed decisions about their energy needs. Responsibilities: - Conduct consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and determine the feasibility of solar energy systems - Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and available incentives - Provide accurate and detailed information about solar products, services, and financing options - Develop and maintain relationships with customers through excellent customer service and follow-up - Generate leads through various channels, including door-to-door sales, referrals, and networking events - Prepare and deliver sales proposals to potential customers, addressing their specific energy requirements - Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements - Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the installation process and ensure customer satisfaction - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and incentives to effectively communicate with customers Qualifications: - Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role - Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales deals - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust - Knowledge of solar energy systems and their benefits is preferred but not required; training will be provided - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is a plus - Fluent in Spanish or other languages is a plus We offer competitive compensation packages including base salary plus commission.
