Job Summary
This role within the Customer Engagement Center helps with the various service, sales and retention efforts for our Restaurant Services' customers. The services provided for our customers include Used Cooking Oil Recycling, Fat & Bone Collection, and Grease Trap maintenance. Our goal is to provide a winning experience for our customers!
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Provide service support to the Restaurant Services internal team and customers:
- Participate in the Customer Service inbound service call queue
- Participate in the Live Chat Communication for all DAR PRO prospects and customers - Both New Business and Customer Service
- Participate in the Customer Service inbound Credit Card queue
- Process credit card payments
- Handle call escalations with sales and operations
- Source renewal opportunities through internal service agreement/salesforce data
- Close/Win new customers or route the qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Upgrade customers to indoor equipment
- Maintain and submit MDM data for new or renewed customers
- Handle special Sales and Customer service projects as they are assigned
- Provide departmental assistance as directed
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 Years of Customer Service experience including resolution of customer complaints and promoting conflict resolution
- 1 Year of Sales experience - including managing a sales pipeline and generating new business Strong Competency in the use of business technologies including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to quickly resolve issues with customers and Darling management
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic business environment
- Ability to deliver value message to customer and gain new business.
- Ability to research and nurture potential opportunities
- Critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive attitude
- Highly organized: superior time management skills
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally walk, stand, balance, stoop, bend and kneel
- Occasionally must push, pull, move or lift to 10 lbs.
- Regularly required to reach with hands and arms
Work Environment
Job functions will be carried out in an office environment, occasionally customer location or other location.
