POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Our client desires a motivated industrial sales professional with expertise in API 610 & 674 aftermarket pumps. In this role, you’ll take the reins and drive impact through:
- Customer Relationships: Build and sustain relationships across your region.
- Demand Generation: Position the company’s products and services as essential solutions for your customers.
- Revenue Growth: Increase revenue spend per account to meet and exceed targets.
Key Sales Activities:
- Expand and penetrate existing accounts, while proactively developing new ones.
- Win back former customers, leveraging your knowledge and relationship-building skills.
- Prospect, research, and cold call to keep your pipeline full.
- Engage with contacts at all levels within customer organizations to advance sales.
- Close deals that bring value to both the customer and the company.
To thrive in this role, you’ll regularly meet with senior management from key accounts to align on their needs and strategize on solutions. A key to your success will be managing your time effectively to drive the best results across a large territory.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in aftermarket API 610 & API 674 pump sales is a MUST.
- 3-5 years of industrial sales experience with a proven track record in new business development and lead generation.
- Experience with rotating equipment and familiarity with the Oil & Gas or Power Utility sectors is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong sales skills, adept at navigating complex sales processes.
- Skilled in account management with a focus on cultivating new business.
- Deep understanding of business, financials, and technical aspects of industrial products and services.
- A technically-minded approach to solving customer challenges.
- Persistence, tenacity, and resilience for breaking into new accounts.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Solid computer proficiency, especially within MS Office Suite.
