What will I be doing?

As a Catering Sales Manager, you would be responsible for representing the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Target and solicit new catering business through lead generation, face-to-face prospecting, and relationship referrals
  • Design, develop, and sell creative catered events
  • Develop existing business to uncover additional revenue opportunities
  • Maximize revenue by upselling packages and creative food & beverage
  • Respond to incoming catering opportunities
  • Perform site visits, both scheduled and on-demand
  • Work closely with banquet management to ensure all event details are communicated
  • Negotiate and close contracts
