Position Title: Branch Manager

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the US Branch General Manager the Branch Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction for driving operational and sales goals at our branch location. The position will require the execution of a sales plan that will build upon existing sales opportunities and build sales growth. Position will work with Director of Sales and Sales Operations Manager to set goals, budgets, and processes for the smooth operation of the branch.
Essential Functions & Expectations:
  • Provide leadership to grow sales dollar volume annually.
  • Cultivate customer relationships around the territory both OEM’s and Independents.
  • Develop sales and travel plans for the territory and implement proactive sales techniques.
  • Gather market research via sales calls with customers and report back to senior leadership for strategic planning purposes.
  • Increase customer count annually through supplying the best possible customer service experience.
  • Increase customer awareness and distribute products via marketing ideas and sales effort.
  • Bring new ideas for products, services, and business concepts after learning more about the market and customer base served.
  • Assist with the sales launch of new distributive and Wurtec exclusive products to the customers in your territory.
  • Responsible for managing a team that completes all activities related to the physical handling of inventory, including receiving, stocking picking and shipping.
Qualifications:
  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's regional sales goals.
  • Understand customer drivers, markets, and align strategies and action plan accordingly.
  • Maintain and communicate regular measurements to ensure progress to revenue and service targets.
  • Monitor customer, market, and competition activity to provide feedback to senior leadership.
  • Assists in the annual budget planning and regularly monitors branch expenditures.
  • Leverage sales resources to increase and optimize market share and revenue.
  • Manage and lead branch customer service and operation team members.
  • Lead ongoing analytical and operational tasks, including job completions.
  • Strong computers skills, data entry, and Excel
  • Forklift driving experience.
  • Team spirit, highly motivated, initiative to support the needs of a busy logistics department.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments, customers, and freight companies in a professional manner.
  • Aptitude for learning our software application, Epicor.
  • Service and detail oriented.
  • Organized, flexible, ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a proven track record.
  • 3+ years of LMA experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, schedules, prioritizing.

Work Environment:
Work is performed indoors in a branch warehouse/office.
Work Authorization
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
