This position is required to work in one of the listed branch offices.

However, periodically may be asked to work in other AFSC branches. Travel in these circumstances will be reimbursed according to AFSC’s Employee and Board of Directors Expense Policy.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President – Insurance/AgriStability/LPI, the Team Leader is responsible for managing, overseeing and coordinating the allocation of work and execution of activities of their Relationship Manager – Insurance (RMI) team.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with the full Client Service network to support the RMI team in executing on the AFSC strategic plan and meeting client service expectations - 60%
  • Coach and develop a team to deliver an exceptional client experience - 20%
  • Create development and training plans to enhance the skills of each team member - 10%
  • Develop and deliver budget plans with guidance from the VP of Insurance/AgriStability/LPI - 10%
Authority
  • Insurance Authority Level 5
  • Make hiring decisions and handle escalated issues within the assigned team
  • Assign and review work, assess performance, coach team members, and approve training.

Education & Experience
  • College Diploma with 8 years of related experience
  • OR University Degree with 6 years of related experience
  • Driving as a Core Requirement: Driving is a bona fide occupational requirement of the role (necessary for the performance of the job) and the employee cannot meet the core requirements of the role without a valid driver’s license.
