Job Description
An international trading company is looking for a Bilingual Japanese/English Sales and Office Coordinator to join their team in San Mateo, CA. This position is responsible for performing sales and sales support functions, including providing customer service, maintaining sales information, and creating documents as necessary. This person will also be assisting with general office duties. A bachelor's degree, 2 or 3 years of related experience and/or training, the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese are required. This is a full-time, non-exempt, in-person position (*_hybrid available after introductory period_*) with a bonus, excellent benefits and 401k.
Bilingual Japanese/English Sales and Office Coordinator Duties:
-This person will be processing sales data and generating sales reports
-Receive, process, and confirm orders
-Create purchase orders, letters of credit, and sales contracts
-Document new project inquiries from new and current clients
-Make quotations and sending them to the customers
-Contact customers in order to troubleshoot problems as they occur
-Making and checking data sheet of product stock
-Contacting customers and prospects to close sales deals, verifies forecasts, and any other inside sales activities
-Performing any other sales support functions as necessary
-Support office duties such as ensuring the smooth operation of office equipment; maintaining and controlling office supplies
-90% of the job is sales support
-10% of the job inside sales
Bilingual Japanese/English Sales and Office Coordinator Skills:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or university-Must have two to three years related experience and/or training-Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.-Must be tactful, mature, flexible and able to successfully respond to multiple work pressures.-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
