Purpose
The Project Manager II will lead and provide technical oversight for project-based work efforts to implement complex client solutions. Effective project management contributes directly to the satisfaction of our customers and the company's profitability. A successful Project Manager II is skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects they oversee, while making sure HC3's clients feel valued and prioritized.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Lead teams of internal resources and third-party vendors to implement complex client implementations and internal company initiatives.
- Delegate and provide mentorship to other Project Managers assigned to support complex projects.
- Develop and manage project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Facilitate the execution of priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the architectural design, products, and functionality being delivered.
- Develop test plans and document results.
- Measure progress and provide status updates to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Represent the client needs and priorities during the product development life cycle and conduct internal reviews to ensure the delivery of high quality products.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders throughout the implementation and onboarding phase.
- Transition new client relationships and products to the Account Management and Client Experience teams.

Education, Experience, and Certifications
Required
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and developers on projects in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines
- Strong educational background
- Proven experience as a project manager in the information technology sector, banking, and/or healthcare verticals
- Strong scheduling, issue, and risk management background
- Experience with technology projects and project management methodologies including creating schedules and roadmaps
- Experience gathering requirements and interpreting and prioritizing client needs
- Experience creating status reports and communicating status to stakeholders at all organizational levels
Preferred
- Experience with JIRA is a plus
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
Supervisory Responsibility
While this position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, they will provide leadership and oversight for their assigned projects and other Project Managers who may be supporting complex client implementations.
Work Environment
In most cases, work will be performed in a climate-controlled office space. If approved for remote work, employees may work from a home office that is appropriate for focused work without distractions; all remote work must comply with the Remote and Telework Policy.
Travel
This role requires little to no travel, up to 10%.
Physical Demand
This role will require using a computer for long periods of time while either sitting or standing.
Position Type and Expected Hours
This is a full-time position for five, eight-hour days (at least 40 hours) per week. Hours may vary to ensure availability for meetings with clients and prospective clients.
