Overview:Manages the overall Southeast territory including the states of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina for all Frontgrade products. In addition to leading Southeast Territory, the ASM will lead the identification, development, and closure of Single Board Computer (SBC) business opportunities in Southeast and Northeast an effort to meet SBC growth targets. This includes working with the SBC product manager in directing SBC proposal development process and identifying pursue/no pursue decisions and business strategy.
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the senior sales management staff, you will develop sales and marketing strategies, identify design in, and new markets. In addition, you will develop and manage sales force via SalesForce.Com and be responsible for developing and achieving sales objectives in support of the division’s Revenue, EBITDA and Cash plan.

  • Management Team Member: As a member of the senior management team, assists in developing short- and long-term business plans and objectives. Participates in weekly staff meeting, monthly Budget and Business Review and other special meetings as required. Participates in decision making for Company plans, policies and procedures.
  • Sales Planning and Forecasting: Along with Line of Business Directors, Product Line Managers, and Director of Sales and other senior managers, develops annual bookings and design-in plans and objectives. Tracks performance to plan and provides weekly, monthly, quarterly, and special reports as required. Submits daily Major Opportunity report updates using SFDC. Develops and submits monthly bookings Guidance View and Short-Term Forecast.
  • Sales Team Management: Develops annual Area Sales Manager bookings plans, including mid-year updates as required. Participates in semi-annual sales meeting. Establishes, evaluates, and updates monthly Intermediary goals. Develops for and directs and evaluates the Field Application Engineer (FAE) design-in activity and reports performance. FAE management includes developing and evaluation of objectives and career development.
  • Intermediary Management: Identifies requirements for Intermediaries (Advisors & Resellers). Hires, evaluates performance, terminates, and replaces Intermediaries as needed. Negotiates and manages Advisors commissions. Responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and recommend adjustments for Intermediaries agreements.
  • Travel within Southeast region (50%). Biannual travel for sales meetings is required. Represent Company leadership at special community functions.
  • Partner with the product line and Executive Director Sales and Field Sales Team in creating and executing SBC pursuit plan.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor your direct report – Sales Engineer.
  • Develop successors for organizational positions and work with local team to ensure a robust talent pipeline and career development, while proactively addressing capabilities of the strategic talent.
  • Foster effective relationships cross-functionally, at all levels, to enhance collaboration and communication.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics, Systems Engineering MS/MBA preferred.
  • Position requires 8-10 years of experience in semiconductor marketing and sales management in products and services associated with Company’s products and services.
  • Proven success in managing & leading a sales organization & Intermediaries.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Location: Successful candidates must be eligible to live and work in either Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina or North Carolina.
