Type: On-Site, Full-Time
Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas
As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for shaping and guiding a dynamic team of sales leaders and managers. Your role will involve setting the strategic vision to drive exceptional customer service and foster accountability across the regional business. You will inspire your team to achieve high performance while ensuring that customer needs are met with excellence and that business goals are consistently exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance to sales management by setting clear objectives and goals for the assigned regional market. This includes identifying new sales opportunities, establishing targets for market share, margin growth, and other key performance indicators.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the sales team by coaching, motivating, and mentoring team members.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to strengthen customer relationships and elevate the overall customer experience.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with customers and strategic partners.
  • Identify and address obstacles by working closely with internal teams to create effective solutions for the sales force.
  • Actively identify both internal and external areas for improvement to address customer concerns and internal issues, resolving conflicts with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Provide insights to the Vice President on market trends and strategic business directions within various segments of the channel.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer data is maintained in the CRM system (Salesforce) to support effective sales pipeline management.
  • Operate cross-functionally within different regional business units to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Recommend and facilitate ongoing training and development programs for both new and current team members.
  • Effectively communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience, with a proven history of managing high-performing sales teams in a related industry or the HVAC sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience in Equipment, Parts & Supplies, and Light Commercial HVAC is preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving sales, revenue, and business growth.
  • Strong decision-making skills with a solid foundation in business and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a passion for sales and team development.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and travel as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce applications.
