Summary:
Vacatia Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead topline revenue strategy for traditional sales related segments with key focus on groups. As the Director of Sales you will be responsible for staying ahead of market trends, market share movement and ongoing competitive analysis, while ensuring budgeted revenues are met or exceeded. The Director of Sales will also be responsible for building partnerships that serve the interest of the resort to increase its overall revenue potential. As a Director of Sales you will be primarily responsible for maximizing sales revenues through:
- Sales Account development, its management for superior returns and repeat business
- Optimizing transient and group business
- Optimize all static sales channels
- Profit-led sales strategies
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading & driving top line revenue for traditional sales segments to include groups, volume transient – corporate and leisure
- Assess macro market trends, competitive market environment to deploy tactics to gain market share
- Activate property’s positioning in the marketplace and establishes preferred status amongst its clients
- Ability to understand and communicate sales and revenue strategies
- Develop budgets, sales targets with eye on performance
- Conduct comprehensive competitive set reviews, SWOT and USP analysis. Monitor new supply
- Be conversant with local and national sales accounts. Develop acquisition strategy to ramp-up share
- Develop and/or implement key segment strategy and sales accounts
- Design effective sales deployment schemes & market assignment
- Ensure timeshare rental model is well understood and is developed into a unique proposition for the sales accounts
- Manage group pace measurement and set sales production goals
- Manage sales activity & travel schedule
- Lead and manage sales personnel as and when required
Education and Experienced:
- Bachelor’s degree required with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Minimum 10 years experience in Hospitality Sales with ability to manage large- sized assets
- Have a deep understanding of Las Vegas market – On-strip and off-strip demand generators
- Well rounded knowledge of all market segments and its sources with ability to drive sales strategy
- Competitive, collaborative with a winning attitude
