Position: **Client Relations Manager
Location: Primarily located in De Soto, KS with occasional travel to Reno, NV
Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Report To: Key Account Manager (for Panasonic)

The Role and Responsibilities
As the Client Relations Manager, you play a pivotal role as the primary liaison between our client, Panasonic, and our production site, ensuring alignment between client requirements and company objectives. Your responsibilities encompass daily communication in both English and Japanese, addressing commercial topics such as volume forecasts, pricing negotiations, and the execution of client-related projects. Swift resolution of client concerns and the implementation of strategies to enhance client relationships and satisfaction are also integral aspects of your role. Holding regular meetings with client representatives in the United States and Japan is essential for fostering strong partnerships.

Client Engagement and Satisfaction: Your adept communication skills in English and Japanese enable effective interaction with our client, addressing their needs promptly and efficiently. By managing commercial discussions and projects, you contribute to enhancing client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
Commercial Strategy and Negotiation: Your role involves managing commercial aspects such as volume forecasting and pricing negotiations, ensuring alignment with company objectives while meeting client expectations. Your strategic insights and negotiation skills are crucial for achieving mutually beneficial agreements.
Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving: Resolving client concerns swiftly and diplomatically is paramount to maintaining positive relationships. Your ability to address issues effectively contributes to client retention and overall satisfaction.
Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Operating in a global environment, your proficiency in English and Japanese facilitates seamless communication and collaboration with stakeholders across different regions. Your diplomatic approach ensures cultural sensitivities are respected, fostering a harmonious working relationship.
Reporting and Relationship Management: Reporting directly to the Key Account Manager in Germany, you provide regular updates on client interactions and project progress. Your proactive approach to relationship management strengthens ties with our client and enhances overall business performance.
Requirements
You’ve received your bachelor’s degree from an accredited university business administration, industrial engineering, or related field, and you’ve spent at least 3-5 years in a commercial position with a focus on project management. You are fluent in English and Japanese. You will work with a high-level of integrity, confidentiality, organization, and time management. You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. You may have experience in SAP technology.
The Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel
Your work is conducted primarily in a dynamic manufacturing setting, requiring flexibility to work in both office and production environments, where exposure to noise and fumes is common, necessitating the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols. On occasion, your work may be conducted at a remote location, such as a home office. You must be able to remain in a stationary position 60% of the time, whether standing or sitting, and be able to move about inside the facility. You operate a computer 80% of the time. You need to be able to lift to 50 lbs. Occasional travel to Reno, Nevada is required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
