Key Responsibilities:
- Safety:
- Strategic Planning:
- Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Sourcing (non-strategic):
o Collaborates with Procurement team in the purchasing and expediting of these special materials.
- Business Development / Project Coordination:
o Lead all activities related to preparing technical pricing and commercial proposal quotations for Temporary Power Distribution products and Cabling Solutions, using SAP’s Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) software.
o Track quotation and order hit rate activity, enabling Sales Manager and outside sales engineers to monitor customer/channel partner effectiveness.
- Product Engineering:
o Lead team responsible for maintaining data for SAP’s CPQ and Variant Configuration (VC) software to enable accurate quoting and building bills of materials for production.
o Lead team responsible for developing and maintaining all design documents and specifications including Bills of Materials, Wiring Diagrams, Drawings and their corresponding APQP documentation for all products manufactured at the site.
- Quality Assurance:
o Assist with Design for Manufacturability efforts and drive cross-functional collaboration.
o Participate in the creation and maintenance of Standard Work Instructions.
o Drive the creation and deployment of processes to manage customer order changes.
o Collaborate with the Quality and Manufacturing teams to develop product inspection and testing procedures and equipment.

Short Description
Education and specialized knowledge, skill, or experience (e.g., technical, scientific, administrative, managerial), which this position requires.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of Engineering experience.
- 3+ years experience in the manufacturing industry.
- 2+ year experience in management position.
Other requirements important for the job, but not essential.
- 2+ year of product, customer service, inside sales, or proposals experience in a technical field.
- Experience in manufacturing Bills of Materials and Routings.
- Experience using ERP (SAP proffered) and quotations systems.
- Knowledge of electrical power products and systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
