We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Eastern Clean Energy team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector is responsible for quality monitoring of various projects, documenting observations, and making recommendations for contractor compliance with the Project Quality Plan.
Note: this is a term position with an expected end date of December 2028.

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Eastern Clean Energy team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector is responsible for quality monitoring of various projects, documenting observations, and making recommendations for contractor compliance with the Project Quality Plan.
Note: this is a term position with an expected end date of December 2028.
- Conduct quality monitoring of contract service provider activities as it relates to the Project Quality Plan, under the direction of the Quality Manager and in consultation with the Owner’s Construction Site Representative.
- Work collaboratively with the Project Team and Contractors to achieve successful implementation of quality procedures and controls as outlined in service contracts.
- Document Non-Conformance Reports and Corrective Action Reports as required.
- Maintain statistics on non-conformance reports and correction action reports.
- In consultation with the Quality Manager, address any quality issues with the contractor to ensure a successful resolution.
- Supports the Quality Manager in review of trends and opportunities for improvement and sharing across the project management team as appropriate.
- Working safely and independently in the field year-round in a variety of environments and weather conditions.

Education & Experience
- Diploma in Quality Management or degree in a discipline supporting quality management, such as Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality monitoring.
- Familiarity with and working under ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
- Certificate in Quality Auditing considered a strong asset.
- First Aid, WHIMIS and Construction Safety certifications considered an asset.
Technical/Job Specific Knowledge and Abilities
- Demonstrated experience working with quality assurance techniques.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality standards and testing techniques such as concrete hardness testing.
