Job Description: Regional Sales Manager Southeast
Reports to: Sales Director
Candidate must live in the territory.
Summary:
Responsible for growing sales for Aalberts Surface Technologies' Wisconsin, WI Facility, in the Midwest. The territory includes: WI, MN, IL, IN, OH, IA, AND mo. Focus on finding metal finishing opportunities related to thermal spray, and fluoropolymer coating applications through prospecting, customer visits, quoting, and development with plant production. Primary Industries are Converting, Paper, Food, Power Generation, and General Industry. There will also be responsibility for existing customers. Priority is growth in Converting and Paper as well as applications in the Packaging Industry.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify new prospects, contact, and qualify
- Actively set up appointments to further the sales process
- Ability to travel 50-75%
- Effectively present Aalberts Surface Technologies coating services to potential candidates
- Interface with Sales Director, Customer Service and Production to quote new jobs
- Service existing accounts on a limited basis to answer questions; i.e. technical, delivery
- Ability to read and interpret prints and technical specifications.
- Enter sales activity in Salesforce CRM database
- Update Sales Director on Industry trends and Sales forecasts
Education:
- Four-year college degree / or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 5 -10 years of sales experience in the following industries: Converting, Power Generation, Paper, Plastics, Medical, and Food
Additional Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Value added selling training in technical applications, and negotiating
- Experience with Salesforce or ACT CRM.
- Competence working in a Windows based PC environment utilizing MS products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Clean driving record

Compensation:
- $100,000+ is possible for the right candidate.
- Based on salary and commissions
