Summary:
The Key Account Manager will be primarily responsible for managing the relationship, growth, staff, and processes related to the Joint Venture partnership. This position manages local scheduling, staff training and development of the Ortho and Hospital Liaisons, as well as other duties to facilitate the maximization of human and system resources to achieve referral and customer satisfaction, maximize productivity, meet schedule adherence and economic goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Manage the growth and relationship(s) for the JV hospital(s) and affiliated outpatient facilities/practices
2. Work closely with local branch and operations leadership to maintain a clear line of communication and ensure service continuity between liaisons and branch/centralized team operations
3. Visiting various hospital departments, attending hospital system meetings, and JV committee meetings
4. Maintain qualified hospital and ortho liaisons, performing all necessary supervisory functions, including but not limited to
a. Hiring
b. Approving time-off
c. Payroll approvals
d. Setting schedules
e. Arranging coverage
f. Setting clear performance expectations and maintaining high level of service of to our JV partner
g. Assist liaisons in achieving KPIs
h. Performance reviews
i. Coaching and disciplinary action when required
5. Maintain positive relationships between health care system and DASCO
6. Address all healthcare system concerns in a timely manner
7. Deliver medical documentation to physicians of healthcare system as needed
8. Maintains a favorable working relationship with other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
9. Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.
10. Work with immediate supervisor to determine standards of performance for JV related staff. May recommend salary adjustments, transfers, promotions and dismissals.
11. Set the example for staff and instills the DASCO vision, values and purpose into daily operations
12. Report compliance/safety concerns that may be identified
13. Other duties as assigned.
If the associate has the appropriate clinical licensure (LPN, RN, or RT), occasionally performing delivery and/or providing instruction/troubleshooting for respiratory equipment, such as non-invasive ventilation, may be required during the normal course of business, as coverage for other DASCO clinicians, and/or coverage after-hours. At 90-days and during the Annual Review, a clinical competency will be completed by a member of the Clinical Management team.
Requirements:REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. Associate degree in business management related field
2. Two years in a medical/insurance/healthcare field operations leadership role to include post-acute care
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position manages some of the employees of the JV, including hiring, development, performance management and discipline.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment and may spend time in a warehouse, clinical or private residence setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is generally required to sit; frequently stands and bends, may climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include both close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
TRAVEL:
Travel is frequently required for this position.
