Job Description
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team and help manage our customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and account management, with the ability to build relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing approx 80-90 landscape maintenance client accounts. As we grow our maintenance division, we will add additional account managers. You will be responsible for responding to new inquiries/ enhancements, resolving customer issues, and providing support to ensure that customer needs are met. As of right now. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team and make a real impact on our business.
This will be a 60-70k per year salary based on experience. We are also open to a pay different pay structure with a salary change, target bonus incentives/ commission that would be paid at the end of quarterly reviews.
Role Expectations
- Provide detailed AND accurate proposals to our clients.
- Manage and schedule the crews that you are responsible for on any given day.
- Implement systems for yourself and your crews for things to run smoothly.
- Track EVERY job with great detail. It does not matter if it is a small or big job. This is vital to get yearly data and analysis. The only job type we do not need to track is routine maintenance since the labor is already tracked. Please use discretion with this. In certain circumstances we may need to track maintenance jobs for fuel or debris.
- Monitor and check on jobs to ensure our expectation of the highest quality is being upheld.
- Monitor and enforce workplace safety. Safety should always be our top priority next to client satisfaction.
- Communicate with our clients throughout jobs.
- Make change orders as needed throughout the course of the job. If someone else sold the job that you are managing, you are still responsible for change orders. The Salesmen is not.
- Review time sheets on a daily basis and correct any errors. This is vital for payroll and job data.
- Submit your approved time sheets so that our office can process payroll.
- Review completed jobs to ensure quality and consistency with what the client expected.
- Generate invoices for our office staff to send out.
- Work with our office staff to ensure your clients/ accounts stay in good standing.
- Handle client confusion or issues in a timely manner and in a professional manner.
- Frequently check to make sure all of your clients are being billed timely and correctly by oue office. If our office is swamped, it may take multiple business days to send out an invoice. So cut them some slack in peak season, but stay on top of them.
- Meet with your team members as needed for inspiration, planning, critiquing, etc.
- Evaluate team members when asked to by higher ups.
- Help ensure the trucks, trailers, and the office stay as organized as possible inside and outside.
- Provide feedback to your higher ups for ideas you have for improvement, employee issues, etc.
- Monitor equipment that your crews use and help ensure they are being taken care of properly.
- Review our service charts to make sure everything is up to date on service. It will be your responsibility to maintain the equipment vehicles with approved methods. I.e. taking your vehicle to get an oil change or inspection.
- Check in with clients throughout the year just to make sure they are happy with the service we are actively providing.
- Perform routine property inspections as stated in client contracts.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
