Chamco has an opportunity for you to join our team of outstanding, talented employees. Due to growth and increased workload, we are looking for Territory Sales Manager to grow the business in Northern BC.

Industrial Pumps

Chamco is the exclusive Western Canada distributor of Peerless Pump products. We also supply a wide selection of industrial pump solutions (including pumps, parts and accessories) to meet the diverse needs of our customers.

Industrial Air Compressors

Chamco offers a wide selection of superior-quality, industrial air compressor solutions for any application, across all industries. We are the exclusive Western Canada distributor of Sullair air compressors, and also a supplier of Vanair air compressors.

Engineered Services

Chamco has over six decades of experience in providing innovative solutions in custom build engineered systems. Some of these systems include Floating Pump Stations and Barges, Air Compressor Packages, or Fire/Fuel/Water Pump Systems. What We Are Looking For

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for sales coverage in and around Prince George, with responsibility for products including air compressors, dryers, and pumps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow the equipment sales revenue and profitability of the territory, meeting annual company targets.
  • Develop, build, and maintain relationships with customers in the territory to create a competitive advantage for Chamco and to provide overall account support.
  • Be technically competent with the ability to size equipment and have a good understanding of compressor and pump systems.
  • Ensure that all quotes offer the customer the best product for their application at the best possible price, while still ensuring company profitability.
  • Maintain the CRM sales reporting tool to track sales activities, ongoing status of orders and the status of customer relationships.
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Implement a business development program to reach new customers.
  • Create an annual territory plan.
  • Work with the support team, operations team management to further build on Chamco’s reputation as a knowledge-based company that provides technically superior, high-quality equipment.

Qualifications

The successful candidate for this role will have some combination of the following qualifications:

  • A strong technical background with experience in rotating equipment. Pumps and compressors experience is preferred.
  • Successful sales experience.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • A strong customer focus.
  • Ability to be a “team” player.

Salary: $72,000.00 per year
