Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Inside Sales Representative with Freight Forwarding experience. This position offers a flexible part-time schedule, commission, and benefits.
The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of air/ocean transport, and managing and optimizing cargo sales and processes.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay $28hr+ DOE
Location: Torrance, CA
Schedule: In-office; 4-5 hours daily with a flexible schedule
Responsibilities:
- Drive business opportunities and close sales prospects
- Prospecting, Generate new business leads and cold-call
- Handle client inquiries and maintain accurate cargo bookings
- Provide quotes as requested by client ensuring the highest level of customer service
Qualifications:
- Strong Customer Service and negotiation skills
- Work well under pressure and meet all performance goals3-4 years of proven
- Sales experience preferred in Freight Forwarding Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
