Position Summary:

The IT Entitlement Support- IT Inside Sales role prepares sales quotes, solicits, and confirms orders for products and/or services, is an expert in IT products and software licensing. This role builds strong relationships with the customers and supports the solution architects with throughout the sales cycle. The role further extends to the long-term maintenance of the customer needs post sale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface directly with customers and vendors leading conversations to drive solutions
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries on products and services
  • Answer product questions and make simple recommendations of product solutions
  • Performs basic sales and resource coordination tasks
  • Confirm product specifications, meet customer requirements, and track orders
  • Renew and provision licensing within customer or vendor mandated timelines
  • Work with the customer in a production sensitive fashion ensuring uptime
  • Review licensing and services to ensure proper compliance with partner programs
  • Works closely with project delivery teams coordinating activation of billing and licensing
  • Perform backup duties when co-workers are out of the office as needed
  • Learn and become an expert in the vendor/partner channel programs maximizing revenue capture
  • Provision licensing within customer environments, maintaining all security best practices
  • Prepare quotes – Take designs from our engineering team and assure the most current/competitive costs and appropriate margins are assigned
  • Responsible for data management and integrations supporting the billing of the licensing and services
  • Accurately enter data into multiple software systems
  • Works with finance to create Purchase Orders associated with client purchases
  • Reconcile all licensing and services sold on a recurring monthly basis
  • Works with the team to automate billing procedures
  • Participate in product trainings, vendor trainings, team trainings
  • Meet performance standards of the department (goals & objectives)
  • Perform research as needed to qualify solutions
  • Maintain working knowledge of IT technology and common practices

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
  • Work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Effectively communicate with co-workers, vendors and clients via phone, email and in person
  • Ability to problem solve, stay organized, meet deadlines, and take initiative
  • Ability to make sound and accurate business decisions with little to no supervision

Knowledge, Education & Experience:

  • Must demonstrate strong use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be able to create and maintain formulas in Excel
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and ConnectWise is a plus.
  • Must demonstrate strong technical aptitude. Knowledge in basic enterprise and cloud computing solutions a plus.
  • Must be a strong independent learner with the ability to understand how technologies are used in customer environments.
  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • 1 year of experience in a fast-paced role requiring a high level of accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
