Position Brief
At OPUS Consulting Group Ltd., we would be nothing without our successful sales team. We’re seeking to add to our team a qualified Senior Account Representative to help us sell the products and services that our customers have grown to rely on.

The individual will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to highlight our products and services in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events, and attending trade shows, it’s essential that our sales executives be personable and professional.

You will help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s sustainable growth.

You will bring to our team experience in the Western Canadian Information Technology sector, having built strong relationships with IT Executives in various business verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential and existing clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations/quotes on products and services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
  • Collaborate with sales, technical and business development teams to effectively achieve organizational goals
  • Continuously works for organizational process improvement, providing input to the sales and business development team to refine processes and cater to new and emerging markets opportunities
  • Delivers online product demonstrations using Microsoft Teams.
  • Enters, updates, and maintains daily sales activities and client/customer information into Sales database
  • Pitches clients and assisting customers decide, buy and use the company’s products
  • Plans an effective sales targeting approach to the assigned sales territory
  • Prospects and cold calls on businesses and organizations
  • Regularly follows up on inbound leads and sales inquiries
  • Responds to customer/client inquiries, suggestions, complaints, and other details, by phone, online video conferences and email
  • Suggests and implements a closing business strategy related to sales

Objectives of this Role

  • Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales strategies and tactics
  • Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing clients or potential sales opportunities
  • Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role in this Industry in Vancouver
  • Currently reside in the Greater Vancouver
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven success rate at levels above quotas
  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills

Experience

  • 5 years of related sales experience in the Technology Infrastructure Industry
  • Software/Technology Infrastructure sales experience is a requirement
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
  • Personal integrity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
