Metro Sales is seeking a Sales Manager to work out of our Burnsville office to lead a Sales Team by providing guidance, training and mentorship and being a positive role model.

Responsibilities Include:

· Lead a Sales Team by providing guidance, training and mentorship and being a positive role model.

· Develop assigned sales representatives in the areas of product knowledge, sales activities, selling skills and strategies, time and territory management.

· Achieve established goals and quotas profitably including Team Gross Margin and Team New Customer Gross Margin Quota's.

· Support the company's polices, programs and procedures.

· Be a contributing member of the sales management team including input on structure, direction, programs and policies etc.

· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

· Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals.

· Conduct business honestly, ethically, and with integrity, which will develop trust & respect with customers and fellow employees.

Qualifications:

· Highly motivated to succeed and coach/develop others to achieve success.

· Ability to recruit and train successful sales representatives.

· High drive/energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent negotiation and building relationship skills.

· Ability to bring market knowledge to sales processes.

· Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making ability.

· Ability to manage the sales process and provide sales planning.

· Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail orientation skills.

· Computer proficiency in MS Office, e-mail, sales prospecting database and internet functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Four-year college degree preferred, and 2-5 years sales management experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
