Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven CHP Sales Account Manager to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia. This role is pivotal in supporting sales growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC/generator sales and/or technical support, experience working through multiple channels, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Account Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the CHP market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for prospective customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Marketing and Event Planning:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, and seminars.
- Manage logistics for approximately 15 events annually, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing events and adjust strategies as needed.
- Represent Enginuity Power Systems at industry events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the energy or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems and their applications (preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel (25%) for client meetings and industry events.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

About the Role:
Enginuity Power Systems is a distributed energy company seeking a vivacious, hardworking, and organized individual for a full-time Account Executive position. This is an outside sales position, specializing in:
1. Maintaining contact with hundreds of sales leads.
2. Organizing and maintaining the event roster for the sales team to exhibit/attend.
3. Coordinating Company exhibits at approximately 15 events per year.
This job opportunity will cover the entire United States and will be based in the Metropolitan DC area.
