Job Summary

Our team of Account Managers are responsible for maintaining and growing an existing customer base of Mid-Market Corporate accounts already contracted with us. They will also assist the Business Development team with targeting and acquiring corporate business within their assigned geography and securing Avis or Budget as the rental car services within those companies. The Account Manager is the face of our company to our corporate customers and needs to be able to effectively represent and promote the Avis and Budget brands, products and services to C-level contacts, Travel Managers, and Procurement departments.

Responsibilities :

Customer Success Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, acting as the primary point of contact for their mobility needs. Understand client objectives, travel policies, and preferences to provide customized solutions that meet their requirements.

Business Development : Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion within existing client portfolios. Develop and implement strategies to acquire new corporate accounts and partnerships.

Contract Negotiation : Negotiate and finalize corporate contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and Avis Budget Group. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.

Collaboration with Internal Teams : Work closely with internal departments, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed client expectations. Provide insights and feedback to improve products and services based on client needs.

Reporting and Analysis : Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in client success or account management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and other relevant tools.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for business, including some overnight travel. Based on geographic location the percent of overnight travel will vary.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver's license.

Benefits

We provide a competitive salary as well as bonus potential, in addition to comprehensive benefits that include Medical, Prescription Plans, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, Basic and Voluntary Life and AD&D, PTO, and 401K Savings Plan with company match of 6%. Sales employees are eligible for a fleet car inclusive of insurance and gas and will be provided with a company owned laptop and cell phone.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $70,000 – $80,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. This position is also eligible for short term incentive compensation awards (a yearly bonus).
