What you do:
The role of the Field Marketing Organization (FMO) External Wholesaler is to establish and maintain productive relationships nationally with top 10% of independent financial advisors (FAs) to drive sales and attain sales targets. The primary focus of this role is regular engagement through meetings and virtual interactions to understand the FAs needs and sales practices to offer customized value-added solutions. Additionally, the FMO External Wholesaler develops and drives a targeted strategy to manage their assigned book of business and serves as a subject matter expert, influencing FAs on our products and services. You will report into the Sr. Divisional VP of FMO Distribution.
Wholesaling: Establish and maintain productive relationships nationally with top 10% of independent financial advisors (FAs). Engage with them through face-to-face and virtual interactions to understand their needs and sales practices to offer customized value-add solutions such as marketing support, client events, etc. Educate FAs on our products and services, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages, allowing them to position Allianz products against competitors. Support them in effectively incorporating our products into their value proposition and sales process.
Account Management: Develop and maintain a targeted strategy to manage their assigned book of business. Plan and schedule sales visits, meetings, and events to optimize time and resources while driving maximum sales results. Leverage data to identify opportunities and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies. Collaborate with internal sales and others to align strategies, prioritize focus, address issues, and ensure seamless support for assigned FAs. Continuously research and analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry developments.
Presenting/Public Speaking: Serves as a subject matter expert, influencing FAs on our products and services. Develop, coordinate, and/or deliver compelling presentations, seminars, and workshops, with the aim of increasing product awareness and driving sales. Represent Allianz Life at client and industry conferences and events.
What you bring:
- 2+ years of experience required: Relevant work experience including financial services experience
- High school diploma required
- MN life producer license is required; ability to obtain FINRA Series 6, 7, 65 or 66 within 180 days of promotion/hire
- Extensive travel is required and the job may require periods of bending, stooping, sitting or standing
