We are seeking an experienced and motivated Audio Visual Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Job Overview:
As an Audio Visual Sales Engineer at Frequency Audio Visual Services, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales of our AV solutions by combining your technical expertise with a customer-centric approach. You will work closely with both our sales and engineering teams to design, specify, and deliver the right solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and provide technical expertise to prospective clients.
- System Design & Consultation: Work with clients to understand their audio-visual requirements and design tailored solutions that meet their business needs.
- Pre-Sales Presentations: Lead product demonstrations and presentations to clients, showcasing the benefits of our AV products and systems.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest AV technologies, trends, and industry standards to provide informed recommendations.
- Technical Support: Provide pre-sales technical support, including answering client questions, troubleshooting, and advising on product compatibility.
- Project Coordination: Assist in the project management process to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of AV solutions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term success.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in sales engineering or technical sales within the AV or related industries.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of audio-visual technologies, including but not limited to: video conferencing systems, digital signage, control systems, AV switching, and display technologies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Information Technology, or AV systems), or equivalent experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of success in sales, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
- Certifications (preferred): CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or similar AV certifications are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
