General Summary:

The District Manager position is able to implement and direct the timely and accurate execution of company-developed operational strategy and goals throughout the assigned area. Accountable for the management of stores in the designated area to ensure customer and employee satisfaction. The District Manager must be confident in their interactions with company and direct area teams in order to execute strategies and remain accountable for ongoing adherence to companywide operational policies, procedures, plans, and guidelines. This includes helping develop and implement standardized programs, plans, systems, policies, procedures, objectives, and goals in the areas of sales, marketing, finance/accounting, and human resources. The District Manager must serve as a role model to drive a shared understanding of the goals and vision for current operations and future plans. Work includes frequent travel to stores within the area.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute the strategy for communication and delivery of operational standards and expectations throughout all stores in the assigned area. Address delivery criteria such as staffing, training, financial goals, success measures, quality control, feedback mechanism, and institution of action plans to overcome shortfalls.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the strategic direction and key decision-making for the company. Provide program feedback and communication from the customer and front-line staff. Serve as the main communication link for the company vision and implement programs according to timelines, provide input to improve services, and ensure the area has the correct and complete tools to deliver successful results.
  • Communicate and train as necessary, any new or revised standards or policies as they relate to store operations, service standards, and programs.
  • Serve as quality control for all operating procedures.
  • Provide direct management of Store Managers within the area ensuring compliance with all operating standards including company human resources policies and procedures - recruiting, hiring, compensation, training, performance management, and termination.
  • Ensure the line of communication with the General Managers in the area – scheduled meetings if necessary.
  • Partner with an outside sales manager in the execution of sales strategies.
  • Review monthly performance indicators and institute action plans as necessary including sales reports and financials.
  • Lead, train, motivate, develop, and manage direct reports to be productive, and team-oriented to support the company vision.
  • Ensure performance management of staff by managing and documenting performance evaluation standards and providing career development feedback on a timely basis. Develop the team of the future.
  • Strategic Talent Management to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures including recruiting, hiring, compensation, payroll, training, performance management, safety, and termination.
  • Develop and maintain a team of managers that make good financial decisions and deliver the highest levels of service and satisfaction in the industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
