Caliber Select Insurance is hiring!

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and organized person to be an Account Manager/Office assistant for our insurance agency, specifically working for agent Erika Wilde. 20-30 hours per week during hours of 9 am to 5:30 pm, Mon-Friday. No night or weekend work available. Preference to in-office work at our agency in Orem, but can accommodate some remote work. Position can potentially transition to full time work.

Notes from Agent Erika:

I love my insurance clients. Many are friends, business associates and even some family. Taking care of their insurance is my priority. I’m on my eighth year at Caliber Select Insurance. We are rolling in business :). I need help to continue to provide excellent response time for my client’s calls, emails, policy changes, renewal reviews, re-writes and servicing. Most of my clients have home and auto insurance with me. Also some commercial insurance, life insurance and health insurance. Your work would include:

taking incoming calls from our awesome customers
uploading documents
entering new customer data for quoting
writing clear emails and including attachments
managing on-going task and underwriting lists
helping customers pay bills over the phone and understand their bills
managing time-sensitive follow up lists

This is not an office job where you'll sit around waiting for tasks and not a job where you can multi-task other activities at the same time. The work is constantly flowing in from underwriters and customers. The position is highly task-oriented.

Qualifications

The ideal applicant would be friendly and clear on the phone and by email; a good listener and problem solver; can defuse stressful situation; can handle lots of details and have a positive attitude. Applicant wanted for 20-30 hours per week between 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I’m happy to accommodate your family or school schedule. You’ll need to pass the Utah insurance licensing exam after being hired. I will provide study materials and pay for your test. Generally takes about two weeks of preparation to learn test materials.

Preference given to applicants with insurance experience. Will train the right person. Looking for a long-term commitment. We’ll be best friends. :)

Compensation

Pay will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Starting pay will be $18-$22 per hour.
